Vela vs albero
E va bene… non l’ho vista dal vivo (ancora) ma abbiate pazienza… il lavoro mi opprime… il sabato è lo scarico di tutte le incombenze che non ho avuto tempo di fare negli altri giorni… e le domeniche scorse sono stato altrove… e quando dico altrove intendo non a Cesenatico quindi non è questo lo spazio dove parlarne… comunque… dicevo… fatto sta che faccio un post senza avere visto il soggetto dal vivo. Di che parlo? Ovvio no?? Della Vela di Natale di piazza Ciceruacchio.
Avevo da tempo in serbo uno spazio mentale per questo post… all’inaugurazione del presepe della marineria ancora non c’era… poi ho visto le prime foto sul giornale… vabè in bianco e nero magari non rende… poi non ho avuto più occasione di passarci davanti… e che ti trovo a casa? Una mail di Di4boliko (almeno credo sia lui… non si sa mai… a volte un Giorgio omonimo…)… mi invia una foto della famigerata Vela da casa sua… tra l’altro mi ha fatto subito invidia dato che, da periferico quale sono, una vista così dalla mia finestra non ce l’ho… insomma… è la foto che vedete in questo post. Poi oggi mi ha lasciato un commento… a dire la verità io gli avevo chiesto sue impressioni dato che magari dal vivo rendeva ancora di più… insomma… il dialogo ve lo leggete qui. Vabè… quindi mi arrendo… e infatti ecco qui il post. Scriverò nudo e crudo quello che penso ma mi riservo di rimangiarmi tutto quando la vedrò dal vivo.
Premessa. Ogni città balneare che si rispetti vive a pieno i tormentoni estivi… ve lo ricordate l’anno del “Valerioooo”? Oppure quello dei messaggi smadonnatori del benzinaio Lugaresi, passati di telefonino in telefonino? Bhè… si vede che Cesenatico è non solo una città balneare, ma pienamente turistica, anche dal fatto che ci siamo dotati pure di tormentone locale sul Natale… vela o albero? Non voglio entrare nella dialettica squisitamente politica dove si scontrano coloro che patteggiano per il loro uomo (colui che se non erro ha ideato l’albero)… coloro che dall’opposizione fanno opposizione in qualsiasi occasione (che fa anche rima…)… e coloro che stanno in mezzo che cercano di non sbilanciarsi troppo. Fatto sta che la città è divisa tra chi rivuole il tradizionale Albero di Natale in piazza Pisacane (o piazza di Garibaldi) e coloro a cui piace la nuova Vela di Natale in piazza Ciceruacchio.
Cercherò di ponderare il mio giudizio in modo molto soft: a me la Vela fa cagare. Si, insomma… ho pensato… magari la vela da lontano, fotografata con una casa davanti, rende poco. Infatti poi ho trovato questa foto più completa. Ahaa!! Ora si che posso dire che la Vela mi fa assolutamente cagare! Cioè… voglio dire… mo s’èl chè batòc che lé?? Io capisco che gli artisti, anche di grande fama, non sempre sono in grado di tenere alto il livello artistico delle loro opere… come dire… anche Michelangelo ha fatto le sue Cappelle… però… dai… ma vuoi proprio fare una vela al posto dell’albero? Mo zò… mo impegnati un minimo… a farla così sono capace anch’io che alle medie avevo 6 in educazione artistica… se andate sulla via Cesenatico vedete delle opere luminose ai cancelli delle case anche 10 volte meglio…
Spero solo che il Comune non abbia pagato un evro per questo baldracco luminoso… che senò gli davo io gratis l’albero del vecchio catamarano di mio babbo che è in cantina a far della ruggine… due luminarie a modico prezzo in giro poi le trovavo sicuramente…
Vabè… non voglio essere troppo cattivo… un merito quest’albero ce l’ha… ossia ha alimentato una diatriba locale tale che magari pure voi che state leggendo il post, presi dalla curiosità, questo fine settimana andrete a vedervelo per poter commentare: “Tanavigliàca… e fà pròpri schìv a’avdeil…“. Ma sotto ogni altro aspetto… voto personale: 4 meno meno. Insomma… a questo punto preferisco un Albero di Natale dove al posto delle palle mettano tante vele luminose… mo no una roba così sciatta… magari delle belle riproduzioni di vele delle barche del Museo della Marineria… bho… chissà… magari qualche giovane artista potrebbe lavorarci sopra…

eccomi!! ed io che che ogni qual volta mi affacci dalla finestra me la devo sorbire, cosa dovrei fare?? ..sono dello stesso pensiero dell’admin, questa vela non è frutto di una mente artistica ma bensì di qualcuno che volesse stupire (in positivo o negativo è poi da valutare..). Dico questo perchè a colpo d’occhio la vela risulta abbastanza imponente ma purtroppo la vedo fuori luogo posizionata lì.. ma cosa ci vogliamo fare? mica siamo noi a decidere…
non mi dilungo oltre perchè il resto è già stato detto..

E poi l’hai vista solo in foto…..che forse è anche più bella….dal vero fa veramente cagare….come hai detto tu!!!….e poi la posizione…..seminascosta dai pini!!! almeno se l’avessero fatta in piazza,si poteva scambiare per un albero venuto male!!!!…

From 16.09.2008 we stay for a week in Cesenatico. What do you suggest to visit ? Yes, I saw already some pics of the nico porto ! E vero belissimo !!!!!!!!! Are there also possibilities in Cesenatico for shopping ?????

Hi! I will try to improve my English; I hope you will understand.
First of all: there are a lot of places to visit; of course the ancient pier, the museum in front of it, the ancient “conserve” (ask people to find it) hidden in the old street of the city. Then, if you like bicycle, you can visit the museum dedicated to the champion Marco Pantani, next to the railway station. Of course take it easy and sometime stay in the beach just sunbathing. Then you can even take a boat where the fisherman bring you with them, take fish and cook them directly aboard; it’s a nice experience.
Then, at weekend, you can visit the Viale Carducci (it’s a street, find it on online maps) and visit the streetbar between the sea and the pier (ask for “Batija”, “Molo95″, “Sloppy Joe” and so on).
For shopping my suggest is to buy tipical food on the south river of the ancient pier or tipical wine… always walk arount the pier and the Viale Carducci.
About September… well… usually the weather is good; not so hot like in August… and if never rain it’s a pleasure to walk around or staying on the beach.
For renting bikes there are different places but, if you are in a hotel, usually they have bicycles for customers; it’s difficult to explain… it depends where you are in the city to find the closest to you… just ask people.
You can find the market every Friday morning near the local Football Stadium “Moretti”. When you arrive near it and you don’t find parking, it means you are arrived… find a park and just follow the people.
When you arrive in Cesenatico go to “Ufficio IAT” (means Tourist office); it’s in Viale Roma 112 (find it on the map). They will give you all the papers to find al the rest of informations you need (but if you arrive by train you should find a information office even in the railwaiy station, if I remember right…).
For any other information you could translate the pages of this blog, expecially by click “Luoghi” category (means “Places”).
I hope each of my word was clear… it’s a lot of time I don’t speak English with someone… have a nice holiday… we’re waiting for you!

Villamarina is the last part of Cesenatico; I spoke about the center of the town… it’s about 1 or 2 km norther from Villamarina… you can easily arrive by bicycle or by bus… just always go straight on the Viale Carducci (that is a very long street that goes from the last part of the pier to Villamarina). Have a nice holiday!

Oh, Villamarina, 2km from towncenter, no problem, come disce in italiano, “fare un passegiato”, a matina, un cappuciono, a pommeriggio / serata un aperitivo…and why not…I will invite you for a drink ! I like surprises !!!!

Well, I’m a man and if you are looking for shoes you will find many places to do shopping quite everywhere. Of course they are close from 13h to 16h… because then they close about at midnight. Have a nice “passeggiata”… but it will be long… I prefer to suggest you at least a bike… ciao!

I’m sorry, but I will not disturb you, but I’ve some other questions :
- I think we should also visit Ravenna ? It seems to be very nice, and it’s not far from Cesenatico.
- Do we also have to visit Cesena and Forli ? What do you suggest ? Let me tell you, we like also history and shopping in a city,
- And what about Milano Marittima ? Is Milano Marittima a more “exclusive” resort at the Adria coast ?
- We should also like to visit Bologna. I think it’s about an hour by car. Is it easy to find a carpark there in town or better by train ?

This is just what I think:
- go to Ravenna just if you like ancient monuments and so on (but then look for a blog of Ravenna beacuse I really don’t know it). There are a lot of monuments of Bizantine age;
- in Cesena from 26th to 28th of September there will be the Festival of Street Food, street food from all around the world (very nice, go to it if you are still here). Cesena is even good if you want to walk looking for shoes or clothing and few monuments (ask for “Centro storico” - Historical Center) but in week end, if sunny, it’s a desert… everybody is in Cesenatico;
- erase Forlì from your mind; there is nothing.
- Milano Marittima is good too if you like high fashion shoes and clothing… everything is expensive… drinking, eating, all. It’s a city with a lot of money but without history… and people sometime is a little bit “snob”. But for a walk it’s ok.
- About Bologna I don’t know it so much… but avoid to go by car… take the train going by car to the railway station of Cesena… but look for a blog of Bologna because I can not help you about what to see.
